Reviews
Took this on a 2-week backpacking trip through Southeast Asia with unreliable power access and never once worried about my insulin. The power bank alone got me through about 4 full charge cycles. USB-C is the right call too since everything else I pack already uses that cable.
This is definitely not a lightweight pouch, it's a real piece of electronics, but that's because it actually refrigerates rather than just insulating. White color started showing dust pretty quickly so I'd go black if buying again. Cooling performance has been consistent.
Works wonderfully when I can keep it plugged into the car charger, but if you're not near an outlet for a while the charge does drain faster than the marketing suggests. Still a solid option since most of my travel is by car anyway.
I was skeptical of the smart cooling claim but it does seem to ramp down once it hits target temp rather than running constantly, battery lasts noticeably longer because of it. Used it daily for about 6 weeks now with no issues.
